While the finished work grabs the headlines, weeks and months of painstaking conservation and creation are taking place at Paul Broomfield's rural North Devon studio.
Here Paul is working on a pair of carp that died naturally at a local lake. He's checking his taxidermy work before the fish are treated and installed in a new piece by the artist.
